Osechi

Osechi is a traditional dish to eat after New Years day and after for a few days in Japan.  What's in there varies from regions but the important thing is appreciate the New Year and wish for a prosperous one with our family.

I cooked the black beans.  They were good.
But all the rest was obviously better.  Thanks to my wife that we could follow some Japanese traditions even though we're in NYC.
