A true kissing gate

A quick scamper out today to avoid as much of the forecast heavy rain as possible.  Our walk up to Lily Tarn above Ambleside was a little marred by a washed out footbridge and we had a chance to see the impact of the recent flooding on the town as we took the path along the river.  Up above it all the views were stunning, but I couldn't resist this tiny gate across a bridge with its sprig of mistletoe.
