St Mary's from Church Street, 1659 hr. A peregrine falcon, sometimes two, are often seen on this tower, except when I am there hoping to see one.
The Extra, taken a minute or so later, shows some of the town centre Christmas decorations to the left of the library.

As heard on Cerys Mathew's 6 Music show this morning. This derives from a variant of an 18th century murder ballad known as Young Hunting, handed down by James Hogg, the Ettrick Shepherd, who had it from his mother, but this 2014 version is probably based on the adaptation in 1995 by Nick Cave and PJ Harvey, featured on Nick Cave's Murder Ballads album of 1996.
