Elegant Pukeko? (Oxymoron!)

This pukeko was strolling most elegantly along this fence-line.  They are quite clumsy birds who only fly short distances and most awkwardly.  This one must be the supermodel of the pukeko realm.   

Last day of the holidays for us today! Started off cold but Dave went for a bike ride anyway and I did some work on the front lawn. The back is looking great but the front has been weed invaded and needs work.

We relaxed this afternoon and went for a walk around close-by new houses.
