saying hello to the New Year

There was no time to spare for a hangover and soon after the breakfast I took Helena for a little hiking trip down the hill from our hotel to see the icy river (potok) Helena was telling me about they visited with my husband.
It was partly frozen but still very cold and so live.

While Helena was scavenging its shores (she found a 10 grosz (penny) from under the ice from 1970) I hiked up the forest and took some walking meditation amongst the trees. It was a bliss I'm telling you - to connect with nature and its spirits and just think about good vibes :)

I found a car sit just sitting on one of the hill, overlooking the forest and mountain brook Kamienczyk - it looked like someone dragged it up there and had a bonfire as there were some evidence left including an empty beer can! Please check the extra photo to see it.

Then we went all again for more sledging for the kids and some hair of the dog for adults :-)

On the way back from snow activities we hiked up to Kamienczyk Waterfall which was about 30-45min steep walk and we had some good look around the beautiful mountains, amazing nature and most of all half frozen waterfall :)

I loved taking blurred pictures (handheld) with a slightly longer opened shutter speed for the effect - see another extra picture.

It was a long and active day full of laughter and fun - hope 2016 will bring much more of those happy moments.
