Winter: and the cold have been illumined

Words from one of the songs (The Alphabet of the Trees) which will be featured in Red Shift: Songs for a Winter's Night  that I'm rehearsing for.

As I cycled to work this morning and noticed the light, those words sprung to mind.  And so I started singing out loud.  And one of the park workers remarked on how nice it was to hear someone singing at that time in the morning.

First day back, and it's been great.
