Trying something new

I read this quote today, in another blip, and I just had to use it for something. I've just begun with the project of turning an old book into an art journal and tried painting one of the torn book pages with a primer (gesso) to hide the text a bit. I must admit that tearing pages out from a book almost made me nauseous. :D But, I'm getting used to it now. :) Anyhow, I used my tryout book page for this quote and I think it turned out rather ok.
