On and on the rain will fall

Is there a chance that the rain will stop for the poor people further north? It seems that we are going through the wettest December in years.

It's no fun for anyone after a while but for us there was reprieve in the shape of our next door neighbours new addition. Her name is Izzie but we've already given her an elongated "Izzie whizzy lets get busy" for good measure. Miniman is in love of course...for the record I might be a little bit loved up too.
