Everyday I Write The Book

Golden triangle

On the road this morning. Olympics meeting in Addlestone followed by an appearance in front of the council's health select committee in Kingston. Popped into Starbucks before heading back to Leatherhead and blipped Queen Anne, whose golden statue in the market square is over 300 years old.

Fantastic meal tonight in a local Lebanese cafe called Jeitta - excellent food, excellent service. Good to catch up with my old colleague Mr C. who is currently working in London. We haven't seen each other for a while so lots to talk about.

Cancelled my afternoon off tomorrow - instead of blipping the Olympic rings on Tower Bridge I'll be slaving over a hot spreadsheet ... ah well ... soon be the weekend ...
