where is the snow?

I feel very sorry for all the children who have holidays and want to play in the snow, doing skiing or sledging .... no snow in sight and even on the hills and in the alps the ski regions dont have any snow - there are a few slopes who are prepared but how boring is it to be one of the thousands who slide down in a row???
