New hat - step 2

So several lessons learned already. The first was it was quite tricky to get the side away from the 'mould' ended up using an icing spatula! Then I decided to do the 'tip' using 2 layers of fabric. I pinned each to the 'mould' seperately when wet, and left to dry by the fire... All was fine, and rock hard, and removed the top pins, however as the two layers had melded together it was difficult to remove the bottom layer... But I did eventually... Wiring comes next I think.

Still trying to decide whether this should be a silk or tweed/wool hat, but several days until I get that far!
