Senna

Tonight we went to watch a screening of the fantastic film Senna which documents the life of the three times Formula 1 World Champion. It was a special screening at Silverstone as part of the build up to this weekend's British Grand Prix. Tickets for the showing were sold in aid of the Prince's Trust and we got to sit in the new grandstand with the film shown on the big screens above the pit garages. Such a good film, made all the better by seeing it in such an iconic venue. We also got to see a lot of early preparation underway in the pits with cars from most teams being tuned and a few practice tyre changes etc. I captured the blip looking down the stand: the facial expression of the boy says it all really, amazing in-car footage likely to blame for the jaw dropping expression.

All in all a fun evening although some idiot managed to run in the back of my car on the way home leaving me (Chris) in a state of shock and with bits of the bumper and trim hanging in the road. He drove off without stopping to exchange details with no working front lights. He left an embedded chunk of number plate in my bumper.
