Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Twelfth Night

Twelfth Night, the night before Epiphany, the day when the wise men visited the infant Jesus. It is also the night on which the Christmas tree is un-bedecked (if there is such a word) and the decorations put into storage for another year.
We are being helped in our labours by the lesser Talpids; things are rather wild and frenetic!
Meanwhile, the rain continues to lash down unabated and on Royal Deeside Abergeldie Castle totters on the very brink of disaster. I very much hope that it can be saved.
