Christmas Llights

A very early start today and everything went well with the flight and we arrived at our hotel about 12.00.  Our rooms weren't ready so we just had to got to the pool bar and have beer and chips oh and a coffee.  After unpacking we walked along the front and then got back to get ready for dinner.  After dinner we talk a taxi into Funchal and admired the Christmas Lights.  They have an amazing number and we come back every year just after Christmas to have 3 weeks in the sun and see the lights.
Lovely warm sunny day and the temp this evening while we were out was a balmy 16.5 deg
