Oyster Mushrooms.

You may have noticed I like growing things.  Fungi are something I have never had any success with.  A while ago I saw a TV programme where a firm were collecting coffee grounds from the city's cafes and restaurants.  They then grew various edible fungi on them and sold the produce.  It said they were branching out into kits for home growing.

A bit of googling shows that there are now a number of firms selling these kits.  As Clickychick and I are on a bit of a roll with Thai food I decided to ask father Christmas for a kit as one of my presents.  (Thank you girls)

As you can see it has worked rather spectacularly and quickly, so it was Tom Kha Gai for tonight's meal.
