I'M GETTING MAD....

.... seemed to be the action of this galah (Eolophus roseicapilla, also known as the rose-breasted cockatoo, galah cockatoo, roseate cockatoo or pink and grey)
as it fed on the seeds in the side lawn. Check the ole WIKI here for some info on this bird.


It has continued to rain, no where near as bad as areas up around Newcastle (Poppy and jensphotos turf) where they have had 300mm (as reported on radio) but Jen says 238mm approx in 24 hour, most ever for this time of year. Whatever it is a damn lot of wet stuff, considering it is summer after all!!


Anyway, after a quick call late today to make sure they have not had any issues, liked the way this little lady is showing her territorial right!!!

.... our son is lucky enough to be travelling in USA on west coast at present and sent this pic in extra, he was chuffed that the cloud cleared a bit as the sun was setting.
