Music

Today, apart from school & swimming has been very music centred. She got up before me, dressed and made her breakfast then sat at the piano. When I was up and ready we had nearly an hour working on our duets. We cycled to school, on a major mission!

She was pretty indifferent about her day beyond excitement that it was casserole for lunch and someone had played the trumpet in assembly to wish a teacher happy birthday.

After school we cycled to swimming, where she swam her heart out and was really excited to be chosen as an example of "how to do that right" with some of her stroke technique. She yelled to tell me as much! As soon as wed cycled home she went back to the piano before moving onto some new pieces on her clarinet. She then spent 20 minutes gnawing on a carrot before bed!

Also, the Christmas tree is still there because she cried at the mere suggestion Norman should now live outside, without decorations. Yet she happily packed her own tree away!
