Last day

Left over birthday cake, football, swimming (where M bashed her face up) packed a couple of bags, dinner, packed some more bags and off to the club for a last visit.

This has been a great holiday. We came here last year when L had only just learned to crawl. She use to have a bottle in the evening and sleep in her buggy while the other 2 girls had a boogie on the dance floor for a couple of hours. This year, L was a maniac in her own right. I've really enjoyed watching her embrace the freedom to run around, the rhythm of the music, the pasties! She's just been a dream. So versatile and happy to go along with everyone else, sleeping in a big bed, trying new things. Can't say she's always this easy but I'm really thrilled that her great behaviour has coincided with the holiday. Boy how she's grown and changed in 12 months.

We've had some lovely meals out, some great ice-cream, valuable day trips to places, some partying and some late nights. We didn't however conquer L's phobia of sand :(

2 weeks holiday is a real luxury that we wouldn't get to do often. It's been good to completely switch off from reality. (even though the lack of 3G was pretty painful at times).

..... That said, I can't wait to sleep on my own bed
