Pounawea Sunrise

I am having the most wonderful time at the Sesquicentennial of the area I grew up in. The Catlins my favourite part of NZ. This morning was up just after 5 am and away down to Pounawea and the sunrise sure put on a show but by 6.10 am it was all over so went stalking birds. White faced herons and Royal Spoonbills a plenty but my lens was not good enough for the distance.
The beginning of the centennial has been awesome and three more days to go.
A distant relative is next door to where I am staying and they have let me on to their wifi so can post but probably won't get much commenting as done. Too many people from the past to talk to.
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my little fairy. I will catch up eventually
