Having Fun

After all the hectic running around and work of the last few days, I actually managed to get in some fun time today. Game of golf in the morning with a friend who is here on holiday and out fishing in the afternoon with his son and a friend.

The fishing was great and the boys caught a bucket load of Mackerel and a decent sized Pollock . Some of the Mackerel have already been filleted by Mrs B and will be going in the smoker this evening for our starter, when we have dinner with our friends who are here for the weekend. They will be arriving shortly, so apologies for the lack of commenting, I will try and catch up later.

Today's blip is of one of the Mackerel on the grass near to where the boat is moored. I love the colours in this fish and reckon it must be one of the most attractive in our coastal waters. It also tastes delicious smoked!
