Saccharomyces carlsbergensis

......or a moving history of yeast. Identified by a researcher employed by Carlsberg, Saccharomyces carlsbergensis is the name of the yeast used for making the famous beer. Being a generous chap, the founder of the brewery gave the "secret" to the rest of the brewing world and it is still used quite a bit today (more or less everywhere). This machine the boys are moving for me is a production level experiment to produce (....or something) the yeast.
