Mystery Plant

A tall plant with clusters of white flowers has sprung up in our garden. I suspect it is a variety of salvia. I would be very pleased if someone can demystify this rather intriguing plant for me.
We have enjoyed a lovely warm sunny day here. It has been almost too warm for comfort. Little Maisie, the pup retreated to her crate in the cool laundry for most of the afternoon. It is now late evening and Maisie is full of life. Tonight I introduced her to one of the late Fergus's favourite treats. A gingernut biscuit. Yum!
