First Snow 2016

This was the view from the office today as the first snow of 2016 arrived.  Although we had a fair fall at the coast it didn’t really come to very much.  It was not until I headed home that the full effect of the weather became apparent.  The  roads around the village were all quite well covered in snow and slush.
 
Mrs F and I had a quick trip to the supermarket for a few essentials and then settled down for the night with the wood stove burning.
