Guildford Shopping Trip

I took a trip into Guildford today to buy a much needed pair of walking shoes: my old, much loved pair, were beginning to fall apart and in no way were still waterproof!

I found some I liked quickly, so headed to the local department store for a celebratory coffee and scone.  The resturant overlooks the River Wey, so I took the opportunity to grab some quick shots with the little compact I keep in my bag.  I've tried to convert to B&W using Lightroom and Silver Effex Pro, but sadly suspect my skills and the limitations of the camera may not have done this shot full justice.
