Cams Hall

I have blipped Cams Hall before on the 10th May 2015 which was a day time shot, so I thought a trip back to do long exposure night shot

The settings I used in this image were, 8sec exposure, 100 ISO, F/7.1

Thankfully the rain stayed away

For those who are interested in the history please read below

For centuries this was one of Fareham's most stately residences, with a manor house recorded at Cams Hall as far back as the 13th century. In 1781, a new building on the estate was bought by the Delme family who moved from Place House to live in the mansion. They spent a small fortune part-rebuilding and enlarging it into a superb mansion, known as Cams Hall, and it remained in the family for more than 100 years. The estate has a superb setting and outstanding views to Portsmouth Harbour. When the family's male heirs died out, the estate was bought by Montague Foster who rented it to a number of tenants. It was sold again in 1895 and had several owners, as well as being used by the Admiralty during World War II. During the 1950's a caravan park was developed and the Hill family farmed the land. The buildings and house fell into disrepair. When a new owner was killed in a plane crash, Strand Harbour Securities took over the estate and renovated it.
Today
Cams Estate is a successful business park set in the stunning surroundings of a golf course. The park's centrepiece is the renovated Cams Mansion and adjoining Home Farm buildings complex that have been converted to office use.  Business occupiers include a range of high-tech businesses, including Serverhouse, which is in the process of developing 'Teleport T1' to house satellite communications dishes, receiving and transmitting TV, data and video world-wide. The development and the fibre-optic superhighways that serve it put Fareham on the global telecommunications map and provide an enhanced business future for the Cams Estate. We have also developed a successful small business centre on the estate.
