We hit....

.....the house hard today.

After a nice relaxing Christmas and being a bit too dark after work we've finally got to the house today to do some work. The sash window company came to do their final survey today so now all we are waiting for is the manufacturing of them which is roughly 7-8 weeks.

It was a good seven hours grafting today from the both of us and we really felt we achieved progress today.

The rain this evening was rather impressive, Gem and I popped into Wollaston and we didn't think we would make it back as manholes covers were bursting and the road was about one and a half foot deep under water. We really need to get our roof completely water tight.

A relaxing night with a film I think.
