Derelict Sunday 12 :: DS12 :: Outhouse

A bit of a cheat this one. The derelict bit is what this mini model is sitting in. 

When we added a shower room by borrowing a part of a bedroom we ended up with a small hall that had a redundant light switch on the wall.

Instead of filling the hole and wallpapering I made this outhouse model to fit into the space. The outhouse is not in use...

Extra: This is also something that isn't quite what it seems. This is a chimney on my local pub. If you look carefully the left hand side looks different to the right. This is because it if false. 

Behind the facade are phone ariels. When these were installed they had artists on cherry pickers painting each brick to match the rest of the chimney. They were told to do it again when the council didn't like the first attempt. Since then the paint has faded and I guess they may need to return. 

The local pigeons don't seem to care.
