The Library on Sunday

A grey Sunday, already 15 minutes before opening time, I was amazed at the number of people - mostly young adults - waiting to get in.  In spite of internet, video games and all the stuff we sometimes criticize, there still is a real success for librairies.

This library and mediathéque is in my neighborhood.  It makes me think how important librairies have been all through my life, from the small local community library in town, through the library at college where so so many hours of day and night were spent, and now to this one.  I hope and believe that librairies will continue to adapt to the community's needs, and survive!
