Before my dad left for a school trip to Copenhagen a few weeks ago I asked him if the danish kroener still had holes in the middle of them. He didn't know, so to answer my question he gave me this coin when he returned. They do.

Despite its small monetary value I felt it was aesthetically rich with great accessory potential. With a small investment (silver ribbon from John Lewis) I was sure I could achieve a great return.

20 kroener to the new necklace sounds like a great Exchange rate to me. A solid investment.
