Black dog, Swanage beach

This tends to prove that if you wish to photograph any black animal (or other sentient being) you should either hose it down or submerge it in the waves.   Here the sunlight also helps, particularly in capturing the flying sand and water.

On Saturday - i e yesterday - the BBC weather forecast described the temperature in Swanage as "balmy".  (Not to be confused with "barmy"!)
