Bye Bye Bowie

A bit of a bombshell at work today as my boss and mentor announced her resignation. She's been offered an opportunity that's not to be turned down. I'm really happy for her as she really deserves it, although it does mean that I'll be left without my guide. I'll miss her!

I was doing the washing up tonight (kitchen will finally be finished tomorrow!) and heard of the passing of the amazing David Bowie. I looked outside as 'Heros' went on as a tribute, and there was this amazing rainbow.

What a sad day for the world of music, fashion and the arts generally. I'll try to watch labyrinth with Miles in the coming weeks.
