High Tide and Green Grass

The first long walk of the new year took me to the high point of the golf course, the 9th tee. It is my favourite view and it was a joy to see it in such good light today.

The course was in very good condition after the recent storms. The club was recently listed in 11th place in the list of Scotland's top 100 courses and VisitScotland Golf Tourism voted it the best course in the country to play in the £50-£100 price range. The fee for 2016 is £110!!

In the panoramic view posted you can see the village on the left, the harbour area (Port Erroll) on the right with Slains Castle up on the headland.
