Mono Monday - Fancy

This picture is in a book of quilt patterns by an amazing quilter called Jennie Rayment.  She does the most amazing work.  This one really is FANCY, and I really FANCY doing it.  I have had a go at a couple of the blocks from the book, but whether I will ever do enough to make a whole quilt, I am not sure.  All of the blocks are in Jennie's words "fiddled, twiddled, stuffed or tucked', not one of them is flat.  The book is one of my prized possessions as Jennie signed it when I met her at a quilt show some years ago.  I have included the coloured picture as an extra.
