Winter grey

I noticed the mackerel clouds on the grey sky and thinks it looks lovely.
It occurs with change in the weather and I think you blippers from UK have a saying: Mackerel in the sky, 3 days dry. But when sailing this kind of clouds should prepare you for an upcoming wind.  I have always thought of them as a traffic jam, just much more beautiful: the wind is stronger than the clouds manage to move so if become a queue.
