Coming in to land - white faced heron and friends

Terrible dull light today, and very few birds in evidence at the pond.  Then a harrier flew over and that caused a scatter, though I don't think a heron would have much to worry about.

Other birds around the heron are a pukeko (or purple swamp hen) and a family of paradise shelducks. Interesting juveniles as they all have male plumage and if female, only get female plumage in the second year.
