Celtic Psychosis/International Tartan Day

International Tartan Day today in Maclean, NSW, our neighbouring town. It still celebrates all things Scottish, being founded by early Scottish settlers in the 1850's.
This is the Brisbane band "Celtic Psychosis", who were a lot of fun and very good. This is them playing that fabulous Credence Clearwater classic "Bad Moon Rising" - just fantastic, as was their rendition of "I am, you are, we are, Australian" with the bagpipes.
The celebration was to be held in McLaughlin Park, a lovely spot riverside and near the centre of town. However the weather was very threatening and it was decided to hold it in the local primary school hall - not very atmospheric at all!
And then the sun decided to come out and it was a lovely morning outside!! Oh well - the music was good.
PS - if anyone from outside Australia is wondering about the flag in the background, it is the Aboriginal Flag which was hanging in the school hall along with the Australian Flag, which is just out of sight in the photo. There were other Flags flying in McLaughlin Park which were most probably more in keeping with the Scottish theme.
PPS - I think the Surf shirt with the kilt is very cool - good blend of cultures wouldn't you say:)
