An Opening in the Wall

2.7C. Freezing overnight. Bright morning then thin cloud in the afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Amazing Things and Mara). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. The Craigmill burn is still running very fast but the level has dropped a little. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was frozen. Much better for walking. In one of my occasional attempts to find something a bit different I tried one or two shots of an opening in the wall that runs down the side of the track.

We walked along the cycle path and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach at Westhaven. The sea was very calm today. There was a couple with a small child walking along the sand towards Carnoustie. We had a wander along the beach for a few minutes then crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
