Fleeting Sunshine

I was amazed that we got any sunshine at all today.  I was lying in bed at 5 this morning listening to the rain hammering down and the wind howling and thought "Do I have to get up?".

The answer was Yes and I was in the office just after 7 as per usual.

A big bit of analysis later and I have a plan to fill tomorrow.  It's looking good for progress.

I do like problem solving.  I think I like problem understanding even more.

On the way home, I encountered one of Germany's World Class Tsk-And-Sighers.  When People disapprove of something here, they don't keep it quiet - it has to be conveyed with an audible to rocks "Tsk" followed by such a sigh of disapproval that even if it has nothing to do with you, you double check that you're not in their way or haven't stolen their purse.

Her first display way as she tried to enter a shop and had to wait for someone to come out first - "TSSSSK-Sigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh".  The bloke leaving the shop caught my eye, I shrugged and he said "she needs a beer".  And then in the shop, she ignored the queue and just started ordering.  The shop assistants carried on serving their customers, cue a really loud "TSSSK-SIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHH Really!"

She got what she wanted "Finally!".

That sort of thing puts my back up and I automatically go into even-more-polite mode.  There's absolutely no need for that kind of rudeness but there's no telling some Schimpfenköniginnen (Queens of Moaning, I may have made that word up).

And in weather watch, we have snow forecast for tomorrow evening and all day Friday.
