The view through the window!!

No painting today as B was exam invigilating at college this afternoon. We spent the morning hanging pictures on the landing and stairs.
 
I dropped of B at college and then did a 2hr stint of shopping. The long list was halved, success on some items and failure on the rest.
 
I had planned to meet B at the Collection, a museum with a great coffee shop, but it closed at 4pm. I found another one, a little way down the road, which did delicious cakes!! One to remember, it stays open until 5pm!!
 
As we came out of the coffee shop I saw this scene through one of the windows in the adjoining building
    
This evening B is doing the preparations, so that we will be ready to paint the hall tomorrow.
