Steam and sulphur

We visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park today.

This is part of Sulphur Bank, a series of steam vents that leave deposits of sulphur and minerals such as haematite, gypsum and opal.

The island of Hawaii is currently sitting over an active volcano. It could erupt at any time, so it's best not to go inside.
