Tommy Atkins Mango

Since 2007 we have been growing improved variety seedlings to improve diet and do a little bit to make antiretroviral drugs more effective in the fight against AIDS. At the beginning we concentrated on citruses.
In the past few years we added mango and this year we have six varieties, like Keitt, Kent, Hayden, Green...,out of a total of fruit tree varieties29.
All this work of budding, grafting, layering.... is done by our Malawian workers.
The picture shows rose, our secretary holding one of our first Tommy Atkins fruit to develop on the farm. Exciting times.
