Downtown Kowloon

A typically iconic Hong Kong picture in mono (thank you CBL/The Dominie)!

Took Niwah to a huge stationery/arts and crafts store today which she absolutely loved followed by a lunch at a "Christian" restaurant which had bible verses on the menu, and motivational pictures on the walls and Christian music playing too. She'd never been to one before and was quite amazed. Food was good too ;-)

Then we hit the Ladies Market which is always a treat. In amongst all the touristy 'cr..p' there's plenty of really unique stuff there. I hadn't been for a few years, and was curious to see what new stuff they had.

On the way home, for the first time in the ten years we've lived here, the train we were in actually broke down!! Shock, horror. We did make it home safely, thank you Lord, and had a rather pleasant evening with the boys and friend Cecilia joining for dinner.

I did have to take a moment and just enjoy the boys and the conversation and exchange, these will become memories for me as we get close to the time when they leave home :(
