Watching over Princes Street in Edinburgh

This afternoon we took the train through to Edinburgh for lunch with friends and enjoyed the lovely crisp cold sunny weather.

Lots of chat and advice about our upcoming trip to New Zealand as they had a similar "retirement trip" a few years ago - can't wait!

During lunch we spied the Farewell Flypast of the Royal Navy Sea Kings (see extra photos) involved in search and rescue in Scotland for many years but now replaced by more modern helicopters.
