Snow silhouettes....

Well the forecast was right. About 3-4 inches of snow overnight, and a frost to follow. Driving conditions a bid wild up our way,as the gritter didn't appear until lunch time. A neighbour managed to slide his car down the hill and over a banking, only saved from a further plummet by a handy tree.
A day spent feeding and bedding cattle and filling sheep feeders with silage. The herd started the ewes onto the turnip field today for a few hours. They gradually build up to a full day on the break, then off to a grass field at night.
Going to be a keen frost tonight, but at least it is dry !
