Periwinkle bud

A meander into the garden this afternoon to find a blip and spotted these wee periwinkle buds bravely enduring the cold and providing the promise of some lovely winter colour.  

Late afternoon we headed to the cinema in Hexham to see 'The Danish Girl'.  An incredible film and brilliant acting from Eddie Redmayne.
