Surprise!

Lovely to walk down to the river feeling the crisp mud under my feet which had been solidified by the overnight frost.
Sun was so brilliant in the bluest of skies.
After all the dull and dampness of the past couple of months it felt like a perfect winter's morning to be out and about.
After leaving the river to head for home my eyes were drawn to a clump of white, the first snowdrops of the season.
