Swirling skies

One of those days when you suddenly realise that the rain has stopped, the wind calmed and the sun has decided it's safe to come out. It was a wee bit nippy, with frost and ice lurking around the edges but on the whole a bonnie day.

Later the skies began to swirl and our brief respite was over, hail, sleet, snow, wind... pretty much as it should be in January.
