Sky High Hockey

The skaters have taken to the ice, 23 stories up. The ice rink now has a blue maple leaf design in the centre, full tented netting over top/sides and lighting. It was a regular hockey game that was being played up in the clouds. Today was foggy and just above freezing. My previous photo of this rink early on during construction is much clearer and crisp with blue sunny skies. This one is fuzzy and muted in the fog. The bottom left has large coloured O R O which is the centre part of the huge TORONTO sign at city hall in front of the skating rink. You can barely see the ground level rink with skaters between 2 buildings. Two outdoor rinks 23 floors apart! Molson Canadian beer company has confirmed this project is theirs and will feature in their upcoming beer commercials. Looking forward to seeing the final product!
