...RIP Alan Rickman

...heard the sad news of Alan Rickman's death yesterday...another cancer victim.  Alan was the director of one of my favourite films, the very low key and gentle 'The Winter Guest.  So to town to pick up the paper and on to my favourite café for lunch and to read the obits and tributes.  In the evening went to a a great talk at Plymouth university on the rewilding of Britain by environmentalist George Monbiot and Alan Watson Featherstone of Trees for Life....
