The day hasn't gone to plan. John isn't well - you don't want to know - and couldn't go out on a bird count with the neighbours. I planned to feed 6 of us tonight but had to cancel in case J has 'something' that is apparently doing the rounds. Instead as he looked like sleeping beauty I did some sewing.

A few days ago a small folding table arrived, it will be useful when feeding more than 6 people, using outside (ughhhh) and for the sewing machine, today the small bedroom turned into a sewing room and very good it is too.

Some light snow - as can be seen on Mr Blackbird - and it is very cold out there.
